In My Cart

I have a confession to make...I have about 10 things in my Nordstrom cart right now. And a bunch more in my target cart. So I haven't pulled the trigger yet since I haven't made all of these purchases, but I will share and you can tell me what you think.

First off...I have three floral things!
Seriously, floral is everywhere. I'm definitely a solid/dark color kind of girl. I love me some black tops :) But these are so fun and happy...and my mom always says I look better in bright colors!

Here are some of the things in my cart:
I found this tank on Christina's blog The New Mrs. I think I just need to buy it. I love it and it is so me. Plus it goes with the whole floral trend :)
Oh this is 40% off now...should I get it? Love the light colors with the floral print!! I really like how it is longer in the back too. Cute!
Okay, I know I'm not supposed to buy any scarves. But come on, it is floral and infinity. It would be so cute for spring and summer. Plus the pinks would go with so much that I already have. I love love love it! They have a bunch of other similar ones too.

Hmmmm I just realized that this looks shockingly similar to an Old Navy tank that blogged about recently. I'm so predictable. I'm loving this coral color though. I'm patiently waiting for it to come back in stock in my size!!

Shoes, Shoes, Shoes...
Can you ever have too many shoes? The answer is no. Obviously.

I have been thinking about getting a new pair of go to sandals for summer. Shay blogged about these a few weeks ago and I have been looking at them pretty much every day since. I can't decide if they would be worth the money. I will keep thinking on that one.

I'm in serious need of some flats. My flats are like 5 years old and look like little girl shoes. I need some grown up, wear to work, kind of flats. I think these will do. Anddd to top it off, they are on sale this week!

Converse anyone??
Holy moly! When did these get so expensive? I thought they were cheap! Wrong! I have been loving these on everyone else lately...wondering if I could pull them off or not. I think I would go for the gray. You know, sneak away from my love for black a bit.

Last but not least...I'm in love with this tank top I bought over the weekend. I would like it in every color now :) yes, that is my favorite thing to do. Yes, I need them. Yes, they are in my cart.

This is only part of my cart! I have a love/hate relationship with it. If only I could have it all ;)
Have a great day!

Nail Polish Crazy

Today I will be linking up with Erika and Andrea for Favorite Things. And we will be discussing one of my very favorite things, nail polish :)

So here goes with my big nail polish secrets...

It is probably my favorite color right now. I stumbled upon it one day when I got my toes done. After that, I just needed to buy it. It is so bright and fun. The color looks a little weird on amazon, but I got it there, so it will look like this! So fun for spring and summer.

Gorgeous - Orly
This color looks so good on! Seriously, every time I wear it people say how much they like the color. I like that its purple looking but still bright and fun. I don't wear as many dark colors. Plus there is something about this brand, it stays on for at least 5 days before it chips. I got it at Sally Beauty, but you can get it online too. Love this.

This is my go to bright pink. Mine is almost gone! Yikes!! They sell this brand at Nordstrom Rack so you might be able to find it there. If not, it again looks different on amazon, but this is photo shows what it really looks like. This brand stays on really well for me too. If you are a pink lover, this one is for you. SO bright and perfect!

Bachelorette Bash - essie
My friend Kristin bought this for me for my bachelorette party! What a cute idea, huh? I ended up wearing it to the other two bachelorette parties I went to last summer. I still love it even for a winter color. It is bold, but not too bright. One day I was wearing this and my niece told me that my nails were beautiful. So take it from a 2 year old, this one is great.

This photo is all over Pinterest so I cannot figure out where it originally came from. I saw this and thought it was a great color. I ordered it on Amazon and loved it. I wear it all the time when I'm looking for something neutral. It isn't bright at all and goes great with my skin color.

I feel like different top coats work best for different people. Sometimes top coats don't keep the polish on at all. This one work best for me! Not only does it keep the polish on for longer, but it also helps it dry really quickly. Sometimes I like to paint my nails before bed. If I use this top coat I can go to bed 15 minutes later without worrying about my nails getting messed up at all. Also, I like to paint my nails a lot, so this top coat just helps when I have other things to do besides waiting for them to dry. It is good to know that it comes in this little box. All of the essie top coats do. You won't find them out with all of the colors.

There you have it, nail polish from a true nail polish lover. I could probably do one of these posts every month with plenty of different colors :)

I got my toes done this weekend used an awesome hot pink! Now I'm sandal ready. Have a great week!

Friday Favorites #8

Hello Friday!! I'm linking up with Andrea and Erika for Friday Favorites as usual this week.

I'm so happy it is the weekend. This has been a long and sick week. We have been waiting for some good rest :)
Thank goodness for this place this week. They were able to see both me and Justin one night after work. Justin really needed to see a doctor. He has been so sick and unfortunately cannot take any time off works because they are short staffed. And they can now bill as a primary care visit! Which is amazing because then you don't have to deal with weird billing issues, but you can get in like it is urgent care. Woo!

NyQuill = Sleep

Isn't sleep always my favorite? I think so. But these past few weeks have been overly exhausting. And of course I can't ever fall asleep. Weekend = nap time. Oh how much I love it! I'm glad Justin will finally be getting over this cough thanks to Zoom Care. NyQuil is the only thing that has helped me sleep (or try to sleep) through his coughing.

Okay, I will admit it...over the past few seasons I have become a Survivor nerd. Just like I was back in 5th grade. Yikes. I have also suckered Justin into watching it with me most of the time. Some other people (cough, Katie) need to get caught up so we can talk about it. Anyway, there is more to this game then I ever thought as a kid. I love seeing how it all plays out. And I love predicting things (and being right about it...otherwise I definitely don't bring it up). Ha! This is a great show to get caught up on or binge watch. I'm always excited for the next episode. Who would have thought?
 Donna Karen Cashmere Mist

I ran out of this deodorant this week and HAD to get a new one immediately. Yes, it is expensive. But it works. Better than anything else I have ever used. It was the one thing that I didn't have on my wedding day. But I so wish I did. The smell is so light and happy. I have sweating issues, I know it is gross. This stuff is the only thing that works for me.
Pancakes for Dinner
Yum! I love me some pancakes. For some reason they are even more delicious for dinner. I have been begging Justin to agree to pancakes to dinner all week long. He finally did last night :) I was the happiest. I know, I'm easy to please.
(I did take a pic of my dinner, but the photo made it look disgusting, so I opted for a google pic instead. You are welcome!)

Happy Weekend to everyone! I hope you get some sunshine like we are going to here!

Recipe Club - Sausage Spaghetti

Today I'm linking up with Andrea at Momfessionals for Recipe Club AND Hollie over at While I'm Waiting. I'm excited to share this recipe with you guys. I have been eating it since I can remember because my mom always made it for me :) It is so yummy!

Sausage Spaghetti

2-29oz Tomato Sauce

1-15oz Italian Blend Tomato Sauce
1-8oz Tomato Paste
2 cups chopped onions
1/2 tsp Crushed Red Pepper
1/8 tsp Cayenne Pepper
1 1/2 tbsp Parsley
1 tsp Ground Basil
1 1/2 tbsp Garlic
1 package Spicy Italian Sausages
1 package of your favorite pasta

In a frying pan brown the Italian sausages in olive oil and garlic.

In crockpot, mix all other ingredients. When sausage is done add to crockpot. Cook on very low for 5-6 hours.

I grew up eating spaghetti with Angel Hair pasta. So that is always my go to. You can use whatever pasta you like best. I add lots of parmesan cheese :) and enjoy.

It is pretty easy! This is my favorite spaghetti recipe. I think I love it because it is the perfect amount of spicy :) Yum!! Thanks mom for always making this for me. Justin does a pretty good job making it these days :)

And I'm super excited about this! Check out my feature of last weeks Wedding Wednesday Post on While I'm Waiting!!

Ahhh :)

Wedding Tuesday - Getting Ready

So I'm switching it up this week and doing my wedding post on Tuesday instead of Wednesday since there is the Recipe Club Linkup tomorrow :)
Today I will be sharing the beginning of the day - the getting ready part. There are not that many photos of the boys getting ready since that took about 5 whole minutes. But my girls are so gorgeous :) I love sharing these photos.
This venue had the most perfect place for getting ready!

This window was just perfect for the getting ready area :) I loved these flowers waiting for us!
It is so weird to see my ring without the band now! Putting on mascara with my mouth closed (shocking).
Gracie girl did smile on my wedding day :) Cute pic of my favorite babe.
Twins getting ready
Justin putting his vest on
5 little monkeys jumping on the bed :) I love this pic
My pretty pretty girls!
Window pics with our robes!
Getting my dress on. This took a long time!
Waiting for the ceremony to start
Fun times with my ladies

I wasn't allowed to help with decorating because everyone was concerned I wasn't going to be ready in time. It definitely took us girls a lot longer than we thought to get ready. Thank goodness Davina still made it work!

Next up is the bridal party and family pics :)
If you want to check out the venue photos you can do so here!
