Bookworm Wednesday #5 - January 2016 Reads

Alright guys, it is time for Bookworm Wednesday again...my favorite posts of the month. I have been a little bit of a slacker on my reading lately. I'm reading a really really long book right now and I'm not totally into it yet. It is taking me foreverrrr to get through. These two books, on the other hand, were a breeze.

#1 Wedding Night By Sophie Kinsella
Well if you are new around here, let me tell you, Sophie Kinsella is my favorite author. I really like her style and love (almost) every book she has written. I also love her characters. Anyway, I have read this book before and remembered that I loved it. I wanted to read something light and relaxing at the start of the new year. I pulled this book up on my Kindle and dove right in. This story has some funny twists and turns along the way. The main character things her boyfriend is going to propose, and when he doesn’t she lets her life spin a little bit out of control. If you like books with love stories and happily ever after endings you would definitely enjoy this one!

#2 I Didn't Come Here to Make Friends By Courtney Robertson
Okay Bachelor fans, this is a must read. I don’t know why I never picked it up before. Maybe because I couldn’t get it at the library when it first came out? Not sure. Anyway, it is totally worth reading if you like the show. It is really interesting to see how the editing of the show changes things. The person who is portrayed as the villain isn’t always so horrible. Actually, after reading her book I have much more respect for Courtney. It was interesting to learn about what happened in their relationship after the show and ultimately why it didn’t work out for them. There is a ton of behind the scenes info and she is really open about her whole experience. Also, there are funny little “Keeping It Real” snippets from plenty of Bachelor alums.

I'm excited to see what everyone else is reading :)

  2. Thank you for hosting. I found some great picks here. I was hoping to finish the one I'm reading now in time, but wasn't enough time. So will add that one next time. Enjoy your day.
